Motorola is one of the oldest smartphone manufacturers in the business. The company has worked on legendary phones such as the original Motorola Razr, in the past. The manufacturer continues to make impressive phones to this day, and multiple new smartphones are in the works for the near future.
The latest upcoming smartphone from the company is called the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion. Last year, Motorola launched the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion. The phone featured impressive hardware with a FHD+ AMOLED display running at a 90Hz refresh rate, and a MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset. It seems like the Edge 30 Fusion will offer equally impressive specifications.
While details on the upcoming phone are limited, we have some initial information to share. Our sources have told us that the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion will feature a 6.55 inch FHD+ display. This is slightly smaller than last year’s device, however it should not make a huge difference to most users. The phone will also come with 8GB of Ram along with 128GB of storage, according to our sources. Out of the box, Motorola’s upcoming phone will also have full support for Android 12.
However, this is not all. Fast charging seems to be getting a huge upgrade over the Edge 20 Fusion. According to 3C certification, the device will come with 68.2W fast charging. This is significantly faster than last year’s 30W fast charging. Moreover, dual band Wifi support is all but confirmed and Wifi a/ac/b/g/n are likely to be supported as well.
In terms of aesthetics, the phone does not seem to be offering much. Our sources believe that Motorola will offer black and white variants for the Edge 30 Fusion. This might be disappointing to some users but it does cover the basics fairly well.
More details are expected to show up as we get closer to the release date. Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is shaping up to be an interesting phone so far and it should be worthy successor to the Edge 20 Fusion.
We will continue to look out for more details as we keep you updated on the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion and other smartphones.
