Game delays are always very annoying for fans, and today has been the worst. We just got news that GTA 6 has been delayed a second time to November 2026, and now we have yet another major game delay.

Skydance Games has announced that Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has now been delayed to beyond early 2026. Just like GTA 6, it was also supposed to be released in 2025, then early 2026, and has once again been pushed to a further date.

Why it matters: When the game was first revealed, fans were skeptical, but as the first trailer and leaks came in, more people were interested and even looking forward to it. This latest development will be disappointing for them.

Marvel 1943 Delayed

The studio took to X to announce the delay. The statement says that Skydance is committed to premium experiences and wants to meet the level of quality expected from it; therefore, the release window has now shifted to beyond early 2026.

It seems that the studio still isn’t sure when it’ll be ready to launch the title, which is why it hasn’t specified a proper release date yet again. So, at this point, fans have no idea when Marvel 1943 will actually come out.

The title is brimming with potential, covering the first meeting between Captain America and Black Panther; it has a lot of source material, and to top it all off, the Uncharted writer is working on it, so expectations are high.
