Just a day after the game’s release Warhorse Studios confirmed that the game has sold 1 million copies and thanked the fandom for the support. KCD sold 500 copies in 2 days so the game managed to sell twice the copies in half the time.

Over a million of you have stepped into our world. We’re beyond grateful for your support – thank you for making KCD2 a triumph!

This is a pretty impressive feat and just shows how the first game in the series managed to grasp the fandom’s excitement. The game is likely to see even more success as the reviews from the majority have been positive so more players may pick it up.
