Karel Kolmann, one of the lead developers behind Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, has recently joined CDPR.

The developer previously worked as a game designer, writer, and scripter at Warhorse Studios. According to Karel Kolmann’s LinkedIn information, he has shifted to CDPR as recently as this month.

This shift should allow CDPR to further refine the RPG elements of The Witcher 4. In particular, the developer is set to handle quest design on the project in an attempt to uphold CDPR’s high standards of lifelike and dynamic quests.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 also received quite a lot of praise for its quests and narrative structure. This is encouraging since the developer will bring the same philosophy to The Witcher 4 as part of CDPR.
