Bayonetta 3launched on October 28, 2022, has been insanely popular, and fans love it. Platinum games started working on this title in 2017, and thanks to their efforts, the game turned out pretty well.

You might remember the voice-acting scandal that went viral just before the release of Bayonetta 3. Despite that, the game delivered what fans expected, and many loved the new character, Viola. The scandal was extraordinarily chaotic; hopefully, such a stunt won’t happen in Bayonetta 4.

Talking of Bayonetta 4, Hideki Kamiya recently casually confirmed on his Twitter account that there would be a Bayonetta 4. This is massive news for fans as there has not been much time since the release of Bayonetta 3, and the sequel has been confirmed. Kamiya started by talking about the ending of Bayonetta 3 and then casually confirmed that there would be a Bayonetta 4.

The ending of Bayonetta 3 wasn’t conveyed correctly as per the fans, so he further added;

“I think that unexpected developments are waiting … please look forward to it”

So it seems like that ending was already added with a plan for the next game. But given the unexpected events in Bayonetta 3, no one might be able to predict what will happen in Bayonetta 4, but we can be sure of one thing he is confident. He isn’t bluffing at all, and Kamiya might be planning to take the thrill to the next level, changing many fans’ experience and setting the bar even higher.

With this much teasing, fans can set their hopes high for the next title as Kamiya knows what to do to make fans love this series even more.

Hopefully, the game will be what fans expected, if not more. Aside from that, what do you think of the unexpected announcement of the sequel? Have you played Bayonetta 3 yet? Let us know in the comments section.
