We’re all familiar with the title “Just Cause.” It may not be the most realistic open-world gaming experience. Still, it is best known for the crazy and unbelievable things you can do in the environment without concentrating too hard.

It’s a well-known game that’s enjoyed by many for all the right reasons, and while the series isn’t as famous as it once was, it’s still a pleasant title to pick up and enjoy.

Today, we have exciting news about the Just Cause series and development studios’ plans. Square Enix recently published their financial statistics in their investor briefings, which is standard practice for investor briefings, but they also discussed their ambitions for the Just Cause IP.

New Just Cause title

Square Enix has several other projects in the works; thus, there has been a lot of chatter about them abandoning the Just Cause IP. While Square Enix stressed that they want to focus on creating newer titles that are in line with their current market strategy, they do not wish to abandon Just Cause.

Furthermore, Square Enix revealed that the Just Cause IP is still in their portfolio, and they are currently working on the next Just Cause title, which is fantastic news for Just Cause fans.

“Our intention is to focus on creating new titles that are in line with our strategy. The Just Cause franchise will remain in the portfolio. of our IPs, and we are working on developing a new chapter of the franchise. “

The rest of the document is very ordinary, with no additional details about the Just Cause title, its projected release date, or its development status.

Furthermore, it is unknown whether the future Just Cause game will be a sequel to Just Cause 4 or will include a brand new plot with gameplay concepts from the Just Cause series.

It’s safe to assume that Just Cause 5 is in the early phases of development and that we’ll have to wait a while until we get to experience it.

Nonetheless, we genuinely hope that we will be able to play the new Just Cause game very soon and that Square Enix will provide more information on the game’s development process. This is all we know about the next Just Cause game.
