Hollow Knight Silksong seems to be one of those games that has been coming for such a long time and still isn’t here. In fact, that is the case considering it was announced in 2019, and finally we have a confirmed release for the title. 

At Gamescom ONL today, it has finally been revealed that Hollow Knight Silksong is set to release in 2025. Team Cherry has also special announcement stream for Thursday that is expected to reveal a solid release date. 

Why it matters: Fans have been waiting for Silksong for the longest time. It is unarguabley one of the most awaited indie games in a long time and now, finally the wait isn’t too long. 

Geoff Keighley at ONL has revealed an extended look at Hollow Knight Silksong. It is also the first trailer of the game since 2022, so fans have been waiting a long time. While no soild release date was announced it is expected later.

Starting tommorow, the title will be playable at Xbox and Nintendo booth at Gamescom. Fortunately, it’ll be available for all major platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, MacOS, and PC.
