With Rockstar finally confirming the development cost exceeding a billion dollars for GTA 6, the title is shaping up to be the biggest video game release in history. GTA 6 will be on a scale never seen before as Rockstar continues to push the boundary of what’s possible in a video game.

Regarding the story and setting, Rockstar has already shared a ton of details for GTA 6. However, we’ve yet to see official gameplay and how it will actually play out. An insider has now shared details on the title, suggesting that GTA 6 will feature more than 700 enterable buildings.

Why it matters: The GTA franchise is notorious for setting new benchmarks for open-world games via its details. Enterable buildings have been a huge demand from fans for decades now, and all the wait for GTA 6 will be worth it now that their wish has come true.

According to the insider, hundreds of stores and malls are explorable, and some of the malls are also functional. Moreover, the game will also feature Skyscrapers, which will have elevators too. This will create some exciting gameplay moments and increased explorability within the open world.

This information comes from the same leaker who previously leaked Lucia and Jason’s last names, 2 weeks prior to the second trailer’s launch. As such, this information could be credible.

Regarding other details, GTA 6 will feature five chapters, and Rockstar has reworked some of the cover mechanics seen from the early leaks. Players can also choose to freeroam with either Lucia, Jason, or both present simultaneously.
