[Press Release] G.SKILL, in collaboration with ASUS ROG, has achieved a major overclocking milestone by reaching DDR5-10000 with a 64GB CAMM2 memory module. The test was conducted on a modified ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Hero CAMM2 motherboard paired with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor.
The CAMM2 module ran Memtest-stable at DDR5-10000 with CL52 latency, completing 100% test coverage. This result highlights the performance potential of the CAMM2 form factor, which is now being explored for use on desktops.
Initially developed for laptops, CAMM2 offers higher capacity and improved electrical efficiency in a compact design. G.SKILL’s test proves its value for future high-end desktop platforms, pointing to faster memory speeds as demand for performance continues to grow.
This successful overclock marks an important step toward mainstream CAMM2 adoption in enthusiast and professional PC builds.
