NetEase, a developer that mainly focuses on multiplayer games, recently revealed its first-ever AAA single-player title. The studio released a five-minute trailer showcasing what to expect from the game, and it was enough to excite a massive amount of fandom.

After witnessing the reveal of this single-player title, the fandom is in awe, saying that they are finally getting Uncharted 5

Why it matters: Uncharted is one of the most loved series on PlayStation, but we never got another iteration in the franchise after the fourth part. Fans have always hoped for a sequel, so that is exactly why they are pretty excited for Blood Message, NetEase’s upcoming single-player title that resembles Uncharted a lot.

Finally we get Uncharted 5

I see quite a bit of Uncharted/Tomb Raider Reboot DNA in this and I’m liking it!

This looks like a mix of Uncharted, Ghost of Tsushima, GOW 2018, and AC. Lookin like an old days Sony AAA single player game. Damn does it look good. Will keep an eye out.

-Fans

The fandom has absolutely enjoyed the trailer and compared it with some well-known titles in the industry. However, the majority agrees that it has a lot of resemblance to the Uncharted franchise, which is a good thing.

Fans also started comparing East to West immediately after the trailer was revealed, with some even saying the latter only cares about a quick cash grab, and the former has started to show its real potential, and is showing the world how games are supposed to be developed.

Blood Message is the first AAA single-player title by NetEase.

The game definitely has a lot of potential, and fans are pretty excited despite the fact that it is the studio’s first-ever single-player title. That is probably because such studios offer better games.

Some of the examples are Shift Up, Game Science, and Neowiz. All three of these developers managed to give a solid title without ever working on a project of such a large scale before.
