240Hz OLED Panel With 0.03ms Refresh Rate!

Corsair today announced its new XENEON 27 OLED gaming monitor, which is a top-of-the-line gaming monitor that was announced this week. The reason is apparent: after seeing Fast IPS and Fast VA panels, we are before one of the kings, the OLED panel.

XENEON 27 OLED, as its name states, offers an OLED panel manufactured in a 27-inch size from LG. This has a Quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels with a refresh rate of 240 Hz.

Like all other OLED panels, this one boosts a response time of 0.03 milliseconds (0.03 ms GtG). Added to this is a pixel on/off time of 0.01 milliseconds. This promises to eliminate all motion blur virtually.

Continuing with the panel’s specifications, it boasts a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1 and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits (HDR10). The color gamut or color space covers 98.5% of DCI-P3.

If we talk about image synchronization technology, it has the best of both worlds. That is AMD FreeSync Premium together with NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible.

The CORSAIR Xeneon 27 OLED features up to 60° swivel, 22° tilt, 100mm height adjustment, and the ability to rotate 90° on its stand in any direction. It can also be mounted on the arm, thanks to the VESA support of 100 x 100 mm.

CORSAIR XENEON 27 OLED (27QHD240) is completed with three video inputs in the form of 1x DisplayPort 1.4 + 2x HDMI 2.1. We have a proximity sensor to guide you regarding the keypad and joystick to move around the OSD.

We continue with 4x USB 3.1 ports + 1x USB-C 3.1. This USB-C can be used as a DisplayPort. We end up with the Picture in Picture or Picture By Picture modes to add two external image sources on the same screen.

Unfortunately, no details about its availability or price are currently mentioned in the press release nor on the official CORSAIR website.
