Story Highlight
  • CDPR isn’t done with Cyberpunk 2077.
  • The developer has just teased another update for the title.
  • Fans can expect to hear more information later this month.

Cyberpunk 2077 has seen one of the biggest comebacks in the gaming industry, from being one of the most trolled titles to hitting over 95% positive reviews on Steam.

Many considered the last update in the title, released in December 2024, to be the final update, as CDPR has been working on The Witcher 4 and the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.

However, the developers have just teased another update for the title, with more information to be shared later this month.

Why it matters: Even though CDPR has already made a fantastic comeback and thanked fans for the second chance, it appears that the developers aren’t entirely done yet and have more surprises in store for fans.

Just recently, the CDPR Global Community Director made a new tweet with a picture that says, ‘I got one more in me,’ teasing another update for Cyberpunk 2077.

Marcin says the studio isn’t yet done with the title, and fans will hear more about the new information later this month. He further requested fans to let the team cook for now.

We’ll start spilling the beans closer to the release of patch 2.3 (that’s its name), so for now, we ask for a bit more patience. Let the team cook

It is indeed an exciting time to be a fan of the franchise, as the next game in the series is already in pre-production while the developers continue to work on adding more content to the base game.
