- ARC Raiders was the top-searched game on Google, despite releasing 2 months ago.
- It was followed by other popular titles, such as Battlefield 6, Split Fiction, and Expedition 33.
- GTA 6 took the 7th spot, whereas Call of Duty isn’t among the top searches.
ARC Raiders has emerged as one of the most successful live-service titles of 2025. It has dominated the months when both Black Ops 7 and Battlefield 6 released and continues to grow in popularity even now.
Despite releasing in October, ARC Raiders is now the most Googled game in 2025 as well. It beats the likes of Battlefield 6, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Split Fiction, and more, all of which had an immensely successful year.
Why it matters: ARC Raiders has garnered praise across the industry as the game closes in on 7 million units sold and still averages almost 300K players daily on PC, well above Battlefield and Call of Duty.

Geoff Keighley has revealed a top 10 list for the top trending games on Google this year, and Embark’s third-person shooter has topped the list. It is followed by Battlefield 6, Strands, Split Fiction, and Expedition 33.
The title has been an unexpected hit considering how saturated the genre is. Fans are done with live service games, but ARC Raiders proves that, when done correctly and with innovation, they are still very much relevant.

Interestingly, despite its immense popularity, GTA 6 was the 7th-most-searched game, while Call of Duty wasn’t even in the top 10, highlighting how far Activision’s title has fallen from grace this year.
Anyhow, the game isn’t showing any signs of slowing down as its popularity continues to surge. Embark is quite adamant about keeping it going and will continue to support it over the years with new content and other features.
