- In Arc Raiders, you will get all the items you have lost because of cheating back in your inventory automatically.
- Embark refunds every item that hackers take from you.
- Players don’t even have to file a complaint.
Extraction shooters have never been the most popular niche in the shooting genre, but the success of Arc Raiders has given this formula some much-needed prominence.
The Embark Studios shooting title reached its peak with over 250K concurrent players on Steam, thanks to player feedback that helped the developers restructure the game and make it more fair for everyone involved, except for cheaters.
Why it matters: A successful shooting title taking so much care of its players is something more mainstream titles can also employ.

As revealed by the Arc Radar account on X, if you lose items in the game due to hacking or cheating, they will get refunded into your inventory automatically. Players who face cheating will receive a message stating that the extraction shooter is about teamwork, not unfair advantages.
Furthermore, you don’t even have to file a complaint, as the refund is automatically transferred to your account. Hence, Embark Studios is working diligently to maintain a level of decorum in the game that many mainstream shooting titles lack, due to a surge in cheaters and hackers.
Battlefield 6, which has broken several sales records, also faces the issue of cheaters infiltrating the title during its beta. Call of Duty, on the other hand, claims that 98% of the cheaters aren’t even able to enter a match thanks to secure boot.
But Arc Raiders is taking fan service to another level by automatically compensating you for any loss at the hands of cheaters. Embark is also against adding flashy skins to the game like Call of Duty, focusing more on the fan experience by improving the gameplay.

And, considering how it has already learned so much regarding what not to do thanks to Marathon, the future of the extraction shooter is shining brighter every day.
