AMD Fixes Three Bugs of Adrenalin 25.6.1 And Expands FSR 4 Supports To 14 Games

FSR 4 added to 14 new titles!

Story Highlight
  • The Adrenalin 25.6.1 is now available to support the RX 9060 XT and also benefits all RX 9000 series GPUs.
  • Support for 14 new games has been added for FSR 4, bringing the total to over 55 titles.
  • The driver now supports Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny Remaster and includes extended support for several Vulkan extensions.

AMD’s latest NAVI 44-based GPU, the RX 9060 XT, which is available in both 8 GB and 16 GB versions, has proven to be a huge success due to its performance and retail pricing. As expected, a support driver is being released alongside the RX 9060 XT.

The Adrenalin 25.6.1 edition, which includes three bug fixes and increased support for games using FSR 4, implies that everyone who currently owns an RX 9000 will benefit from this.

The Adrenalin 25.6.1 edition also adds support for the Radeon AI PRO R9700, which has arrived for the AI sector. It is a workstation GPU based on the RDNA 4 architecture and offers 32 GB of GDDR6 memory.

From the perspective of FSR 4, the Adrenalin 25.6.1 is an exciting driver, even if it’s not as good as the one that introduced the RX 9070 XT and RX 9070. This is because it demonstrates that AMD is adapting well at the software and gaming level, taking the competition seriously with DLSS 4, and support for the most recent batch of games is arriving without too many delays.

Compatibility with new products:

  • AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT
  • AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700

Support for new game:

  • Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny Remaster

AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4) support:

As of now, 14 new games will support AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 4, and the total number of FSR 4-supported games is now more than 55 titles.
  • Deadzone: Rogue
  • F1 25
  • Frostpunk 2
  • Legacy: Steel & Sorcery
  • Lords of the Fallen
  • Planetaries
  • QANGA
  • Rem Survival
  • Runescape: Dragonwilds
  • Star Wars Outlaws
  • Steel Seed
  • Stellar Blade
  • Virtua Fighter 5 REVO
  • Wild Assault

Extended support for Vulkan extensions:

  • VK_KHR_video_maintenance1
  • VK_KHR_video_encode_queue
  • VK_KHR_video_encode_h264
  • VK_KHR_video_encode_h26

The downside of this is that the FSR 4, at the moment, will only work with RDNA 4 GPUs, and therefore, only owners of the RX 9070 series and RX 9060 XT will be able to take advantage of AMD’s latest upscaling technology.

You can download these Adrenalin 25.6.1 WHQL drivers with support for the RX 9060 XT by selecting your graphics card from AMD’s official website.
