Shinji Mikami is a Japanese video game director, producer, and creator who is known for the critically acclaimed titles Resident Evil 4, Dino Crisis, The Evil Within, and God Hand.

Fans of all of these games wished for remakes of them years later to relive the experiences in modern graphics, and now, one by one, their wishes are being answered, as the Resident Evil 4 Remake was previously confirmed to be released on March 24, 2023.

And now it appears that yet another game is being remade, as it was revealed by a Reddit user who shared a screenshot of Shinji Mikami’s Facebook account, where he posted about the trailer for an Unknown Game in collaboration with Capcom and Platinum Games.

Many people believe that the remake would be between Dino Crisis and God Hand. However, another Reddit user claims that Shinji Mikami posted and then deleted on his Facebook account that he was working on “a remake or sequel” of God Hand and used the hashtag “GameAwards.”

If this is accurate, then we might get more details about this remake at the GameAwards, perhaps GodHand as the Reddit user suggested. However, we can’t say for sure just yet; for the time being, all we can do is wait until additional details are made public.

We are quite interested in what Shinji Mikami has in store for us. This is all the information we currently have, but we’ll keep an eye out for more details about Shinji Mikami’s upcoming remake.
