Nvidia’s first graphics cards of 2024 are right around the corner, with the GeForce RTX 4070 Super leading the charge next week.
However, Newegg and BestBuy have already published a list of the factory-overclocked and other premium custom models on their websites. The GeForce RTX 40 Super release cycle is going to start with the mid-range GeForce RTX 4070 Super.
While offering more performance and L2 Cache, the GeForce RTX 4070 Super only has a 20W TDP bump over its predecessor. Given that, the majority of Nvidia RTX 4070 Super cards will probably use the same cooling solutions.
Furthermore, a large quantity of custom Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super graphics cards has been shown on BestBuy and Newegg.
The majority of these custom cards are surprisingly priced exactly at $599, which is the MSRP, aside from two specific models that retail for $649.99, including the MSI Gaming X Slim and Gigabyte Gaming OC.
Newegg and BestBuy have also given away what seems to be early pricing on some of the other premium custom Nvidia RTX 40 Super series graphics cards. Gigabyte’s Gaming OC RTX 4070 Ti Super is priced $50 higher than Nvidia’s MSRP, while MSI’s Ventus 3X OC RTX 4080 Super will cost $100 over MSRP at $1100.
Judging from the early prices on the upcoming GeForce RTX 40 Super series, it appears the GeForce RTX 4070 Super might be the only card offered at MSRP. The other GPUs in the RTX 40 Super series are expected to cost an additional $50 to $100, depending on the variant.
