AMD Radeon RX 6600 Now Selling For $180

Amazing Value For The Price!

One of the best budget options from AMD has just gotten even cheaper. The graphics card in question is the ASRock Challenger Radeon RX 6600. This budget-friendly card now retails for just $200. However, buyers can use a $20 promotion code to purchase the Radeon RX 6600 for just $180 on Newegg.

The $180 price tag is currently the lowest for AMD’s budget-friendly option. Though the promotional price is currently limited to the United States, the graphics card is selling for €200 in Europe.

The price of the budget RDNA2 card was dropped after the recent launch of the Radeon RX 7600 for $269. Aside from that, the launch of the upcoming GeForce RTX 4060 might also encourage AMD to lower the MSRP of these cards even further.

Intel, on the other hand, is also currently offering its Arc A750 graphics card at $239. However, the value proposition and availability of stable drivers are not on par with the AMD counterpart. Therefore, it is best to pick the ASRock Challenger Radeon RX 6600 for users looking to create a budget PC build.

The Radeon RX 6600 is based on a cut-down version of the Navi 23 GPU. It features 8 GB of GDDR6 memory and performs well for 1080p gamers. However, users are only advised to pick this option if they own a motherboard with a PCIe Gen 4 slot.

Since the Radeon RX 6600 is a PCIe x8 card, it only supports 8 lanes. This could be a bottleneck for users with older motherboards. Nonetheless, the graphics card is an exceptional purchase for this price.
