Three versions with different VRM?

As we previously covered that the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 is going to be launched in April 2023 and now the most reliable leakers kopite7kimi revealed that the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 variant will arrive in three different variants, including two reference models, and one Founder Edition version.

Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 three versions will be launched by Nvidia one by one and the green camp decided to go with an approach to facilitate the AIB partners and they will be able to launch multiple budget-friendly and high-end models.

  • PG141-SKU343 RTX 4070 Reference Edition AD104-250-A1
  • PG141-SKU344 RTX 4070 Founders Edition AD104-250-A1
  • PG141-SKU345 RTX 4070 Reference Edition AD104-251-A1

Let’s start with the SKUs, which in all cases share the same PG141, which means that they will be exclusive to GeForce RTX 4070 model in its three versions.

At second, we have SKUs that indicate small modifications to the same PCB. Between the Founders version and the Reference version it is normal since NVIDIA mounts its heatsink, but between the two Reference Edition versions, the number is also changed. What differences can there be?

If we look between SKU343 and SKU345, they both have a “different GPU Core” too. This may be because the segmentation of the range will be greater than we expect in terms of performance, and of course, price.

There is no information on the graphics card’s pricing, though do expect it to be around $100-$200 cheaper than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.

What is your thought on Nvidia planning three different variants of GeForce RTX 4070 Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
