One of the world’s most well-known social media platforms, Twitter has been a hot topic since Elon Musk acquired it for a whopping $44 billion. Many are divided on the acquisition.

Since Elon Musk bought Twitter, it has experienced several changes, the most significant of which were the layoffs of almost half of its entire workforce and the introduction of an $8 fee to be verified. These changes were made in line with Twitter’s financial stability.

For those of you unaware, there are presently three badges available on Twitter: grey, blue, and gold. The blue badge demonstrates the user’s authentication, the grey badge is for government employees or organizations, and the golden badge is for brands.

Now it looks like the gold verification badge will have a hefty price on it, as Twitter may demand $1000 for it, which is a high price, but the brand would have to pay the fee if they wanted to keep their gold verification badge.

We are looking forward to how this works out for Twitter. This is the limited information we have for now, but we will be looking for more news regarding Twitter in the future.
