Regarding it, CD Projekt Red has revealed that a vast team, their largest one so far, has been working on the title’s open world, making it believable for the players.

Why it matters: The developers have done this in many of its recent titles, like Cyberpunk 2077 or The Witcher 3, so they know how to create the best open worlds.

During the recent CD Projekt Red’s AnsweRED podcast, the team discussed the development of Witcher 4, stating that huge team only focuses on the title’s open world.

It is important for us for the player to get the world [as] believable as possible.

He further stated that the team is taking care of the believability, ensuring that even the lines of the trees need to be specifically created. The developers also revealed that they have some tools that support the team.
