Just recently, The CEO of CI Games, the developers behind Lords of The Fallen, made a tweet appreciating the character of Tides of Annihilation.
Marek Tyminski retweeted a post that says that the white character looks attractive in the Tides of Annihilation because a Chinese developer developed it. The CEO wrote that the Chinese developers should consult Western developers on how to create characters that stand out.

Not only the Tides of Annihilation but other releases from Chinese developers like the Phantom Blade Zero have been praised for creating stunning characters. On the other side, releases like Star Wars Outlaws have seen great criticism for their characters.
It’s great to see that Asian developers have been stepping up in the gaming industry. Tides of Annihilation was recently shown during the State of Play and has already received a great reception.
