Just recently, the Bloober Team released a statement confirming that it bought the publishing title Project R from Skybound Entertainment, known for owning IPs like The Walking Dead and Invincible.

The team has also stated that fans will have a completely different experience from its recent projects.

Project R is a completely new type of game, different from those that Bloober Team is known for, although of course it will be a horror game.

Bloober Team is also working on Cronos: The New Dawn, which is likely to be released next year. Regarding Project R, the team confirmed that the marketing campaign will begin later next year, so fans have to wait a bit to know anything about the project.

Nonetheless, the launch of Silent Hill 2 Remake appears to have helped the studio become more financially stable. This will also allow the team to take more risks in the future to offer a distinctive experience to the fans.
