Persona 5 Spin-Off Game Hinted By New Domain Registration

Persona Fans Rejoice!

Atlus, the developer behind the Persona games, has been using Ryu’s Office to register its domains online. A new domain was registered recently, which points towards a new Persona 5 spin-off game.

Why it matters: The franchise has been known to release various spin-offs based on Persona games. Persona 5 Royal was also the highest-rated game on Metacritic at one point, and the previous spin-offs proved successful for Atlus.

A Twitter user recently discovered a domain name ‘P5T.JP’ that potentially hints toward a Persona 5 Spin-off.

The registrant information is hidden, so there is no way of knowing the domain’s owner. However, this seems highly likely considering the domain name of previous Persona games, ‘P5S’ for Persona 5 Strikers and ‘P5R’ For Persona 5 Royale.

According To Persona Central, various Persona-related Domains registered between 2017 and 2018 have not become actual projects yet. These include domains like P5U, P5B, P5M, and more.

The list also includes P3RE, which hints at the rumored Persona 3 Remake. However, looking at the domains already registered, there is no telling if the registered Persona 5 spin-off domain will become an actual project.

While a new spin-off sounds exciting, Atlus appears to have a lot more planned for the franchise in the coming years.

A Resetera member previously shared details regarding new Persona titles, expecting the next few years to be heavy on new Persona titles. The information mentioned games like Persona 3 Remake, Persona 6, and another Persona game scheduled to release before 2024, which could potentially be the Persona 5 spin-off referred to in the recent domain.
