- A reliable insider has confirmed that a new Batman game is coming out before Spring 2026.
- The game will potentially adapt the 2022’s The Batman film.
- More titles featuring the Dark Knight are underway as Rocksteady is actively working on new Arkham games.
It’s been quite a while since a solo Batman game was released. Surely, the Dark Knight has made appearances in the recent disasters that Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League were. Still, the superhero is yet to return for a solo endeavour, counting out 2024’s VR Arkham Shadow game.
Fans won’t have to wait much longer, though. An insider with solid credibility has practically confirmed that a new Batman game will be arriving before Spring 2026.
Why it matters: Batman is undeniably one of the most loved fictional characters of all time. It’ll be nice to play as the Dark Knight in a new video game.
According to LEGOTtNewsI, an insider when it comes to TT Games, a new LEGO Batman game is set to arrive next year, modelled after LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
Previously, the insider also hinted at the 2022 Batman film to be adapted into a LEGO video game. The film definitely has enough content to be translated into a LEGO video game, and it won’t be the first time that TT Games has adapted a film.
The game is also set to be unveiled officially on 19 August later this month.
The audience very positively received older Batman LEGO games, and an adaptation of the 2022 film would certainly do wonders for WB Games. Surely, this will be a nice project until the next AAA Batman game is finished.
Currently, reports suggest that a Batman Arkham Asylum Remake is in the works alongside a brand-new Batman Beyond trilogy featuring Terry McGinnis’ Batman is underway. The trilogy in question, which will reportedly be exclusive to PlayStation, is still years away.
