Details regarding Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra have been minimal so far, with almost zero marketing surrounding the project. Now, gameplay footage for the title has emerged online, and it looks groundbreaking.

Why it matters: With the success of Insomniac’s Spider-Man games, gamers have high expectations for Marvel games moving forward. The leaked gameplay footage from Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra assures fans that they won’t be let down.

Thanks to MP1st, we now have our first look at “Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.” The footage centers around Black Panther as he engages in action within a confined space. Black Panther’s character showcases impressive agility, and the game features a destructible environment.

The footage is said to be at least three years old, and keeping that in mind, many changes may have occurred. Moreover, the camera placement is also unorthodox, but it makes sense since this is development footage.

From the short gameplay footage, Captain America seems to be absent despite being the second protagonist in the game. However, numerous screenshots were also shared, offering glimpses at different locations present in the game.
