Lies Of P Officially Releasing On September 19

Demo Out Now!

Update:

Summer Game Fest has confirmed a September 19 release date for Lies of P. A new trailer for the game has been revealed, along with an announcement for a demo on platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

Original Story:

A new souls-like action game, Lies Of P, has caught the eyes of gaming audiences worldwide for its engaging combat and compelling setting. With each new trailer, the game looks better, and fans of the genre have been waiting to finally try the title.

While a release date has not been announced, it looks like Amazon Japan has leaked the date ahead of the official reveal. According to Amazon, Lies of P will be released on September 19.

Why it matters: Souls-like games can struggle to stand out from the genre’s other offerings. However, Lies of P appears reminiscent of Bloodborne, another highly popular FromSoftware title.

Previously, the game was announced with an August release window, but Amazon suggests it has been delayed by a month.

It should be noted that Amazon Japan usually does not provide release dates unless they are very accurate. The website also leaked the release date for Assassin’s Creed Mirage before Ubisoft.

Lies of P is being teased for the Summer Game Fest. The event will likely feature new gameplay, along with the new release date.

Lies of P is inspired by the familiar story of Pinocchio, allowing players to utilize a unique arsenal of weapons to take on various enemies in the world. The game has already revealed several minutes of gameplay, and a release date announcement seems to be right around the corner with Summer Game Fest starting soon.
