- Former IGN editor Greg Miller claims that he’s in talks with Rockstar for a GTA 6 preview.
- This suggests that the game won’t be delayed past its November 19th, 2026 release.
- A Take-Two earnings call is also happening later today that will potentially unveil new details for the game.
Following 3 delays, Rockstar has finally set in place a November 19th release for later this year. While we already have 2 trailers for the game and a bunch of screenshots, the publisher has yet to release a gameplay reveal.
That said, a first look might be around the corner, as per an industry journalist who claims that he’s in talks with Rockstar for a GTA 6 preview soon.
Why it matters: A preview for the game potentially means no more delays for the game, which was expected considering recent issues at the company involving a union and the firing of employees.
Famous video game journalist Greg Miller, who previously worked at IGN, has his own podcast, ‘Kinda Funny Games.’ In the latest episode, Greg briefly talked about the upcoming GTA 6 and that they’re in talks with Rockstar for the game’s preview.
“Andy’s gonna be previewing GTA 6. I got some emails from Rockstar about that, but we’ll leave that for another time.”
Since Greg is in early talks with Rockstar, it’s highly likely that an NDA hasn’t been set in place, which is why he touched on the topic publicly.

Recently, Rockstar gave a terminally ill fan a chance to play GTA 6 early, behind the scenes, but a preview for a journalist indicates that marketing will kick off soon. For the pre-launch, the company is also building a special dedicated team to engage with content creators and fans for maximum visibility and hype before launch.
The publisher’s parent company, Take-Two, has an earnings call scheduled for today, and it’s highly possible we’ll get to hear new details regarding GTA 6 and, if we’re extremely lucky, a new trailer.
