- Bill Money, an Assassin’s Creed veteran and known for his work on Arkham Origins, has joined Rocksteady as a game director.
- Rocksteady’s now-closed game director job listing hinted at a new Batman game.
- As such, Money is reportedly working on the next Batman game, which is said to be a revived version of the canceled Arkham Knight sequel.
The Arkham series will continue to live on despite the blunder that happened in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Rocksteady is already working on the next entry in the series, as confirmed by job listings.
Now, the game’s development is being ramped up significantly as it has found a new director. A former Ubisoft Singapore employee, known for directing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Mirage, has been hired by Rocksteady as a game director.
Why it matters: The next Batman game will be one of the biggest Warner Bros. releases. Fans have been eagerly awaiting a new game featuring the Dark Knight, and the development process must proceed smoothly.

Bill Money’s LinkedIn profile reveals that he left Ubisoft Singapore in May of this year and has since worked at Rocksteady as a game director. Interestingly, Money has worked for WB Games Montreal before on Batman Arkham Origins.
The now taken-down job listing for the Game Director at Rocksteady mentioned:
Design leadership and experience across multiple genres, particularly Third-Person Action, Melee Brawlers, and Open World Traversal games
With his background on Arkham Origins and his experience directing Assassin’s Creed titles, which are known for their third-person open-world action and stealth, Money was undoubtedly hired for the next Batman game.

Previously, reports suggested that Rocksteady is reviving the canceled Arkham Knight sequel featuring Damian Wayne. Additionally, the next Batman game is also said to be part of a trilogy, exclusive to the PlayStation.
