Elden Ring Nightreign System Requirements Revealed; Recommends Only A GTX 1070 8GB To Run

A GTX 1060 3GB Needed At The Minimum!

Story Highlight
  • Elden Ring Nightreign system requirements are quite low, recommending only a GTX 1070 8GB to run.
  • At a minimum, the game needs a GTX 1060 3GB or an RX 580 4GB to run.
  • Storage requirements are only 30 GB.

Capitalising on Elden Ring’s success, FromSoftware has moved on to a spin-off project from the same franchise, but this time taking a multiplayer approach. Focusing solely on PVE elements, Elden Ring Nightreign is set for release on May 30th next month.

The game’s system requirements have been revealed, and they’re surprisingly low. Elden Ring Nightreign recommends only a GTX 1070 8GB or a Radeon RX Vega 56 8GB to run it.

Why it matters: A 2025 game recommending a 10-year-old GPU to run the game suggests an optimized release, which isn’t quite common today.

Moving towards the minimum system requirements, the game will run smoothly with an GTX 1060 3GB or an RX 580 4GB. Additionally, the game will only need 30GB of storage.

While the graphical presets weren’t mentioned in these specs, it’s likely that these specifications were only for a 1080p resolution setting with variable graphics settings.

Still, the game was previously shown to struggle to hit a consistent framerate of 60FPS on the PS5 Pro at a native 4K setting. The framerate usually fell in the 50 range, performing similarly to Elden Ring.

Similar to the base game, the standalone multiplayer title will also be a cross-gen release, launching on both last-generation Xbox One and PS4 consoles. As such, we can expect a similar performance for Elden Ring Nightreign as the base Elden Ring.

Fans Not Happy With The Duskbloods’ Exclusivity On Switch 2

Despite such backlash and not having Miyazaki by its side, Elden Ring Nightreign is already looking to be successful.

Still, if you’re not a fan of PvE gameplay, The Duskbloods is a PvEvP game releasing later this year. However, if multiplayer games aren’t your preference, rest assured that FromSoftware is committed to making single-player experiences and hasn’t strayed from its roots.
