About Me

Hi! I’m Ali Tauseef, and I have been writing for Tech4Gamers since 2022. I love all things computer hardware but am particularly fond of CPUs and motherboards, and I like to stay up-to-date about the latest advancements in these worlds, and when possible, write about it. When I’m not doing that, I like to get into a little FPS action in CS2 or get lost in the vast world of RDR2.

Position at Tech4Gamers

I intitally started by writing CPU comparisons and since then have written articles of all kinds, from Wikis and How-Tos to dedicated CPU reviews. Currently, I test and review CPUs, motherboards, and sometimes, RAM.

Tech Journey

My tech journey essentially began in my early childhood when I was introduced to my family computer on which I first played Need For Speed II SE. When I first saw what was inside that rusty old off-white PC case, it wasn’t pretty! But it intrigued me as to how all of it functions together to bring us what we see on our screens. Since then, learning about computer hardware has been something of a hobby, and here we are today!

Here are the current specs of the system I am rocking:

  • OS: Windows 11
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-13700K

The ASRock Phantom Gaming B850M Riptide WiFi motherboard provides incredible value when paired with AMD's latest processors. With good 12+2+1 VRMs and Dr.MOS SPS, it's decent for overclocking, even with slightly higher VRM temperatures of up to 66°C in our stress tests.

Which lets you monitor components’ temperatures from an external POV. Furthermore, the neat aesthetics, compact size, and high-speed memory support have impressed us equally.

MSI MAG X870E Tomahawk WiFi Review: A Great Daily Driver

The MSI MAG X870E Tomahawk WiFi is an impressive addition to MSI’s X870E arsenal. It prioritizes performance over looks, with a minimalistic design but solid numbers across all our tests. Its VRM setup (14+2+1 DRPS with 80A SPS for VCore) should handle any AM5 CPU (but don’t expect serious overclocking). Additionally, the I/O (5G LAN, WiFi 7, dual Gen 5 M.2, and more) and EZ-DIY features make this an overall solid option for $299.

MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi Review: Performance On A Budget

The MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi is an excellent mid-ranger and a great option for stepping onto the latest platform with your Ryzen 9000 CPU. It has a decent 14+2+1 DRPS design with 14x 80A SPS for the CPU, enough for even the AM5 big dogs. 5G LAN, WiFi 7, dual Gen 5 M.2 slots, PCIe 5.0 x16, and EZ-DIY are the highlights on the board. The lack of dual-sided thermal pads for the Gen 5 M.2 slot is a disappointment.

G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal Neo DDR5-8000 CL38 EXPO Kit Review

The Trident Z5 Royal Neo DDR5-8000 CL38 is G.Skill's latest addition to their EXPO DDR5 lineup. It follows the same design as previous kits from this lineup, with a mirrored silver/gold finish and a crystalline light bar. It's capable of running at DDR5-6400 CL28 with a latency of just 8.75ns, a configuration at which it can beat any kit in the market with speeds ranging from 6000-6400 MT/s. All this comes at a towering price tag of $179, though.
