About the specifications of AMD’s most powerful Console, Asus ROG Ally X, it is accompanied by AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme APU. The processor has a configuration of 8 cores and 16 threads based on the AMD Zen 5 architecture, which can achieve a Turbo frequency of 5.00 GHz. It uses AMD Radeon 890M as integrated graphics, which performs like a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 Laptop graphics card.
The AMD Ryzen APU has a 24GB LPDDR5X RAM configuration at 8,533 MT/s with a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD of internal storage. The device includes 1x USB 4.0 / Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB 3.2 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an 80 Wh battery. So we’re assuming it’s the same one utilised in the ASUS ROG Ally X.
This machine can effortlessly move a 7-inch IPS display with a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels at 120 Hz, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus laminate.
The affordable version, the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally, is more expensive and less potent than the original ASUS ROG Ally. This console uses an AMD Ryzen Z2 A with 4 cores and 8 threads at 3.80 GHz and is based on the AMD Zen 2 architecture. It has the exact specifications as the Steam Deck 2, which launched in 2022 under the RDNA 2 architecture.
At the memory level, it offers 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM at 6,400 MT/s with 512 GB internal storage in the form of an SSD. Instead of a USB4 port, it has two USB 3.2 ports, and its battery has been reduced to 60 Wh.
