New Acer Predator Orion 7000 variants featuring Nvidia’s RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 graphics cards have been leaked in early listings from German shop Otto.de. That said, the final manufacturer’s suggested retail pricing is not reflected in these listings, which have since been deleted and most likely contain placeholder prices.
Why it matters: The new Acer Predator Orion 7000 models introduce the latest Nvidia RTX 5090 and 5080 graphics cards, offering significant performance improvements for gamers and power users.
These upgraded versions are anticipated to be delivered soon after Nvidia’s formal announcement. Furthermore, Acer is improving its high-end Predator Orion 7000 portfolio by integrating Arrow Lake and Blackwell processors.
The Predator Orion 7000 with the RTX 5090 has a 32GB GPU, an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor, 128GB DDR5 memory, and 2TB of storage in its base configuration, priced at €5,999.
The Predator Orion 7000 RTX 5080 model on the other hand costs €3,499 and comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF processor, 16GB GPU, 32GB RAM, and 1TB of storage.
While the RTX 5080 model is priced similarly to current models. However, the system with the RTX 5090 model indicates a 29% price increase, assuming a 19% VAT and higher RAM capacity.
These figures may not precisely represent Nvidia’s final pricing strategy and are only intended to be used as a reference. Nvidia is expected to introduce its GeForce RTX 50 series on January 6th.
However, the leaked listings show that the cost of GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 is in line with the expected MSRP of next-generation cards, which are expected to be much higher than the current generation.
