Stellar Blade is officially headed towards PC in June, almost a year after its PS5 release. Fans can expect additional content and a highly customizable graphical option for the game once it arrives on PC soon.
Ahead of its release, Nvidia has just released a 4K DLSS 4 companion video for Stellar Blade, showcasing impressive performance. The game is shown to have hit a whopping 350 FPS on 4K with DLSS 4 and Frame Gen on.
Why it matters: Stellar Blade’s DLSS 4 and Frame Generation On boost is the biggest leap we’ve ever seen in a AAA title.
Without DLSS, the game runs at 120 FPS on 4K, which is still exceptional. Those who want to enjoy the game on native resolutions will have no problem running the game without any upscaling methods.
Still, those who opt for DLSS 4 won’t see much of an image difference, as Nvidia’s latest rendition of its upscaling method brings significant image improvement over its predecessors.
Moreover, ghosting and aliasing problems have also been fixed, which rules out any possibility that the users won’t turn on this setting.
The system requirement for the game is currently unknown but is expected to be optimized, judging by these metrics. However, it’s important to note that the game is built on Unreal Engine 4. It makes sense why it runs so well, even on the consoles.
