Zotac To Offer Several MSRP Models For RTX 40 Super Series

Fingers Crossed For Stock Availability!

Zotac, in a recent announcement, has confirmed no extra charge on its custom variants for the upcoming GeForce RTX 40 Super series cards. Instead, the company is planning to sell them at Nvidia’s suggested retail prices (MSRP).

Custom factory overclocked variants, on the other hand, will sell for a premium, offering better cooling solutions and higher boost frequencies out of the box.

The list includes the Trinity Black Edition and Twin Edge variants for the lineup. Going by Nvidia’s pricing, they should start from $599 and cost up to $999.

However, higher-end models like the Twin Edge OC, Triniy Black Edition OC, and more will be priced higher as expected. Reference models of the GeForce RTX 40 Super cards from Zotac will perform similarly to the Founders Edition cards from Nvidia.

Meanwhile, those looking for better build quality and cooling should opt for the higher-end variants, especially in the case of the GeForce RTX 4080 Super. As for mid to high-end cards like the GeForce RTX 4070 Super and GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, it’s best to go with the basic variants.

These should be much easier to cool down due to their lower TDP, eliminating the need for higher-end custom coolers that drive up costs for Zotac. Still, AIB partners do have a lot to gain from offering premium and unnecessary cooling solutions on mid-range hardware.

The new GeForce RT 40 series cards will be available on the market from 17 January. From February, Nvidia will also discontinue the RTX 4070 Ti and 4080 since these cards are no longer needed after the Super variants.
