Last nigh NVIDIA showcased its next-Generation Pascal based GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card to the world, and today Zotac became the first NVIDIA’s AIB partner to release its ZOTAC GTX 1080 based on the reference design. The new GPU is based on a Pascal GP104 GPU core which is manufactured @16nm FinFET process node. The GP104 on GTX 1080 comprises of 2048 CUDA cores (TMU and ROP count for this card yet not confirmed). ZOTAC GTX 1080 is clocked at base / turbo-boost 1607 / 1733 MHz. It can Superpass the target of +2Ghz (67C at 2.1 GHz) according to Jen-Hsun.

Zotac Launches GeForce GTX 1080 8Gb GDDR5X Based on Reference Design


ZOTAC GTX 1080 features 8GB GDDR5X memory clocked @10 GHz. It is powered through single 8pin power connector to deliver at least 180W. The back is covered by a custom backplate. The GPU will go on sale from 27 May, 2016. Below you can see the detailed specifications of Zotac GTX 1080.
