Last week NVIDIA released the Second Generation Maxwell Architecture Graphics Cards includes GTX 980 and GTX 970, GM204 chip is fused on both cards. Now even in terms of Performance and Overclocking both also become the most Efficient High-End Graphics cards. Previously we see the race between vendors is also going on, for releasing new candies with their flavor. For example, in addition to last week’s Zotac has released the AMP Extreme Edition and AMP Omega version of both GTX 980 and GTX 970 Graphics Cards in total there are five new models from Zotac for entertaining Maxwell Architecture.
Zotac GTX 980 / 970 AMP Extreme Edition and AMP Omega Edition
First in the line-up is the most High-end GTX 980 AMP Extreme Edition, with a new design and feature three fans for extreme Cooling, in this card there is a bit feel of Batman (kidding), there is also a built-in red LED light, GTX 980 AMP Extreme Edition is a Dua-slot card equipped with 4GB / 256bit GDDR5 memory, Core Clock is 1291, while boost clock of 1293 and memory frequency of 7200MHz. Has a DVI, 1 x HDMI and 3x DP interface, auxiliary power supply for dual 8pin and also has the OC + overclocking module, frequency and voltage trimming directly with the dedicated software.
Zotac GTX 980 AMP Omega version features dual fans for cooling, design and cooling solutions in addition to the previous generation of Extreme Edition is similar. Zotac GTX 980 AMP Omega is also a Dual-Slot Card, built-OC + overclocking module and in terms of specifications equipped with following frequencies core / Boost / memory of 1202/1304 / 7046MHz, need 8 + 8pin power.
Zotac GTX 970 also has two versions AMP Extreme Edition and AMP Omega, in terms of look almost same as Zotac GTX 980. The built-in LED lights in Zotac Gtx 970 AMP Extreme Edition are now in blue color, Core / Boost / memory frequencies of 1203/1355 / 7200MHz, 8 + 8pin auxiliary power supply , 1 DVI, 1 x HDMI and 3 DP video output interface Built-OC + module. The GTX 970 AMP Omega version is almost same like Gtx 970 Extreme Edition only there is a bit change in the frequencies 1102/1241 / 7046MHz.
At last, in the line-up there is a short PCB public version of GTX 970, although it has also a dual fan cooling solution, but relatively short length, dual 6pin auxiliary power supply, frequency of 1076/1216 / 7010MHz, with two DVI, 1 x HDMI and a DP interface.
