SEGA today announced the launch of Yakuza Kiwami, a unique and enjoyable experience for veterans of the series, as well as for newcomers to it. With the successful PC launch of the Yakuza 0 prequel in 2018, fans will soon be able to continue the popular story about Japan’s criminal underworld, set 17 years ago.

Yakuza Kiwami, the first original title of the franchise, tells the story of Kazuma Kiryu, a promising yakuza who risked the murder of a crime boss. 10 years later, Kazuma comes out of prison to a totally different world. A journey through the twisted world of Japan’s underground criminal, where alliances will be tested and blood will be shed. Players will face “extreme” battles, a wide range of mini-games, refined side quests and many other fun distractions.

With an improved gameplay, an expanded cinematic history, the return of exciting battle styles and audio re-recorded by the cast of the series, Yakuza Kiwami is the definitive version of the original vision of the series, now optimized for PC with 4K resolutions , unlimited framerates and customizable controls.
