Redmi, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, announced its two new laptops RedmiBook Pro 15 and RedmiBook Pro 14 in China.

The 15.6-inch model employs an IPS panel with a resolution of 3200 x 2000 pixels (16:10) with a refresh rate of 90 Hz that achieves a maximum brightness of 300 nits with a typical contrast 1500: 1, and it covers the 100% sRGB color space. The 14 ” model maintains the same format, but with a resolution of 2560 x 1600p @ 60 Hz.

The RedmiBook Pro 15 makes use of an aluminum and magnesium chassis with 16.4 mm thickness and 1.80 kg where an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H is hidden (8 cores + 16 Zen3 threads @ 3.20 / 4.40 GHz + AMD Radeon RX Vega GPU 8 @ 2.00 GHz) or an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H (6 cores + 12 threads @ 3.30 / 4.20 GHz + AMD Radeon RX Vega 7 @ 1.80 GHz) accompanied by 16 GB of RAM , an M.2 NVMe SSD 512 GB capacity.

In terms connectivity, we have 1x USB 3.2, 1x USB 2.0, 2x USB-C, HDMI video output, WiFi 802.11ax / WiFi 6, fingerprint reader, a 70 Whr battery with 100W fast charge , and double fan with radiator together to two copper heatpipes for cooling.

The RedmiBook Pro 14 looks like its chassis is 16 mm thick with 1.42 kg. Equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 5700U (8 cores + 16 threads @ 1.80 / 4.30 GHz + AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 @ 1.90 GHz) and its battery offers up to 16 hours runtime with 65W fast charge.

Regarding prices, the RedmiBook Pro 15 goes on sale at a local price to the exchange of 615 euros (Ryzen 5 5600H) or 680 euros (Ryzen 7 5800H), while the RedmiBook Pro 14 do it for 550 euros ( Ryzen 5 5500U) or 600 euros (Ryzen 7 5700U).
