Recently, we have seen many reports regarding the AMD Radeon’s upcoming 300 series out of which some of them are confirmed officially while some of them still awaits official confirmation from AMD. Earlier today, pictures of XFX Radeon R9 390X were leaked on the internet.
XFX Radeon R9 390X pictures leaked
The official image of XFX Radeon R9 390X was leaked on the bottom section of images on official website of XFX. From the box, it seems that the graphics card contains 8GB of GDDR5 memory. While it was expected that the graphics card will be equipped with High Bandwidth Memory (HBM).
The R9 390X comprises of 2816 stream processors, 64 ROPs and 176 texture units while it is clocked at 6 GHz. It is equipped with 512 bit memory bus and bandwidth of 384 GB/s. There are no major changes from architectural point of view but still R9 390X will be faster than its predecessor, R9 290X.
