Previously Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) announced that its partners (assemblers / brands) are prohibited from launching their own versions of the Radeon R9 Nano, so AIB partners cannot even launch customized versions (equipped with a more efficient cooling system), also AMD will not let them significantly alter the specifications of Radeon R9 Fury and frequencies should be the same as the original model.

XFX Radeon R9 Fury X: First custom version smiles for Camera

Luckily, after the three month’s launch of Radeon R9 Fury series AMD will allow them to build custom versions. Today we have the leaked pictures of the first custom model of Radeon R9 Fury X, and this comes from the camp of XFX, which translates into a new front design for the graphics card, and the integration of a new aluminum backplate to the rear logo and drilling assembly to improve heat dissipation. Obviously the most dramatic improvement is visual, but they are still able to do it in a very small scale as we remind you that AMD has banned the use of custom cooling systems on the Radeon Fury X.
