Fans of the Witcher series were eagerly waiting for the third release, which is set to be 20% bigger than Skyrim and equipped with lots of side quest missions. Previously, we know that the end of the trilogy has been delayed a bit more, but that does not mean the game is in trouble.
Although CD Projekt made clear that delay kicked them slightly forward to polish it as much as possible, but many players began to panic after the buggiest release of most anticipated titles. And players believe that there were some problems in the development of delivery and ghosts began to appear.
So the co-founder and CEO of the study, Marcin Iwinski, wrote to site Nerdacy to make things very clear:
Gamers took our decision [to delay The Witcher 3] very well. [The] market is afraid of badly polished games on next-gen platforms.”
“There’s a lot of small errors though, because the game is huge. It’s the only reason behind the delay. We didn’t assume it will be this big. Only after putting all the pieces together it turned out it’s bigger than the two first put together.
“Let me remind you: it’s open and not linear. We are just learning how to play it and we have to catch the little pieces. We know what to do, we just have to do it. We don’t want to release the game with bugs that undermine the gameplay.”
So, the official words telling them not to panic. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is in good health and will be refined to the smallest detail, May 19, 2015 is the new release date on which you will be able to feel the most impeccable experience.
