Famous real-time strategy game, Warcraft 3 is all set to receive a new update 1.27 from Blizzard Entertainment after 14 years of launch of the game.

Warcraft 3 was released back in the year 2002, and this update is all set for release on coming Tuesday, March 15th. As per the report, the game is still largely popular among Chinese gamers and this new video from Back2Warcraft over the YouTube also confirms it. Can be seen below;

Warcraft 3 update 1.27 is not the first update in the game as the previous update, update 1.26a was released in March 2011. Blizzard’s Vice President of Tech, Robert Bridenbecker made announcement through YouTube to thank his fellow gamers.

“Thank you very much for your support over the past decade, playing Warcraft III. Over the past few months, you may have noticed we have introduced a new battle platform. It’s introduced features like matchmaking [and] the ability to communicate with your friends at a level that is unparalleled to anything we have done with Warcraft III in the market before. And on top of that, we’re proud to announce that on March 15, the next patch for Warcraft III will be available in the market, simultaneously with the rest of the globe.”

Blizzard Entertainment is also working on a new patch for Diablo 2. The new update for the game was announced after five years earlier this week. And another update for their second old franchise hints that the company wants to keep their legacy running. Stay tuned for more updates!
