Universal Windows Platform did not make a good start through Windows 10 Store. Since the inability to use overlays (now possible with Dxtory, Action! And soon with NVIDIA Shadowplay), lack of support for Muli-GPU configuration, not be able to use Shaders as SweetFX suites and ReShade, that’s why many gamers try to avoid new approach of Windows 10 Store and now these issues has been fixed.

Universal Windows Platform (UWP) Now supports G-Sync, FreeSync and Unlocked Frame Rate

Luckily, Microsoft is listening carefully to PC gamers and today they released an that will allow us to play games with unlocked frame rate, support for the NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies. The first games to take advantage of the new update will be Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, these new features will be implemented in both games after an update from developer studios.

The update will be automatically downloaded from Windows 10, but you can also download it manually from this link.
