This year during E3 2016, Ubisoft announced Just Dance series, which will be released for the upcoming gaming console, Nintendo NX next year.
Ubisoft shows support for Nintendo NX
Not only promising a new franchise for the new console, the developer also released some other games on the current console, Wii U, such as Assassin’s Creed IV, Watch Dogs, and even released Wii U exclusive Know Your Friends.
Recently, CEO of Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot while speaking with the Game Informer announced that the company will support Nintendo NX and according to him, Nintendo is among the best partner in the world. He said;
“You can expect we’ll support Nintendo. Nintendo is one of the best partners in the world.”
Furthermore, he also praised the Wii U and said that it has done quite well, it is still a great Nintendo machine, having ‘great’ franchises and the company has sold a lot copies of Just Dance on the Wii U.
After the statement of Guillemot, it is being speculated that the new console might get getter AAA titles, although not many developers have shown their support for the new console yet. Up till now, only Ubisoft, Warner Bros, and Square Enix have announced their support for Nintendo NX.
It must be remembered that the company hasn’t revealed its new console Nintendo NX. It was being rumored that it might get revealed during the E3 press conference, but the company decided not to reveal and focus on the game Legends of Zelda instead. And it’s also confirmed that the console will not be revealed during Japan’s annual show, Tokyo Game Show (TGS) which will be held this September between 15 and 18.
Nintendo NX is planned for reveal later this year and will be launching in March 2017.
