Industry sources have revealed that Ubisoft is preparing two exclusive Triple A titles for users with Virtual Reality glasses, and one of these is nothing less than the expected return of the Splinter Cell saga, which of course, will be accompanied by Assassin’s Creed which would be very interesting to see in VR with both parkour and climbing, so it will be necessary to wait to know what type of gameplay it will offer.

The information indicates that Mark Zuckerber himself (Facebook CEO) is personally involved with the project, and has already signed agreements for exclusive versions of the Assassin’s Creed and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell in Virtual Reality for his Oculus glasses.

“Facebook hopes that seeding Oculus with popular game franchises will help attract more people to buy its VR headsets—which have so far been only moderately successful—and increase the amount of time spent on the social network’s platform.”

To this was added the statements of Luca Ward (famous Italian voice actor who plays Sam Fisher in almost all Splinter Cells), who has confirmed a new Splinter Cell game. According to Luca Ward, this new Splinter Cell game would be out in 2021.

“There is a Splinter Cell return that will come back with a final chapter, I’m not sure about this, but they didn’t know whether to do it in 2021. It was a 2020 project, but then something happened and the big projects stopped in 2020.”
