The Witcher 3 has sold 4 million copies within two weeks which is quite impressive, announced by CD projekt RED.
In an open letter, CD Projekt co-founder Marcin Iwinski had written:”4 million RPG fans spending their hard-earned money on our game is a sign that we did something right, and you can be sure that we’ll harness all that positive energy and make the upcoming expansions worthy of the grand adventure that you’re telling us Wild Hunt already is!
“Until then, keep on enjoying Wild Hunt, do not forget to grab your weekly set of free DLCs, and stay tuned for constant updates and enhancement to the game we are continuously working on.”
The Witcher 3 – 4 million copies sold in 2 weeks, a moment of cheer! for CD projekt RED:
The Witcher 3 is the largest game release in the UK this year, with sales 608 % better in comparison with those for The Witcher 2. In October 2013 it had been declared that all CD Projekt Red Witcher games which are Witcher 1, Witcher: Enhanced Edition, Witcher 2, Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition Xbox 360 had combined sales of 6 million units. Now it seems Witcher 3 can easily surpass that figure easily alone. Which is a huge success for Dev team.
The Witcher 3 was released 19th May on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. There were few issues of graphics in start, but all fixed up quickly with patches.
