Game Developers Conference 2016  is just around the corner and Valve announced its first game / technology demo designed for virtual reality glasses, we are talking about The Lab, which will be shown next week during the event. We are hoping that AMD is responsible for its live presentation through its graphics card codenamed “Capsaicin” which would be based on “Dual-Fiji XT” chips (Radeon X2 Fury).

The Lab: The First Valve Game For Virtual Reality Glasses

According to Valve, the “compilation of new VR experiments” are collectively called The Lab and are set in Aperture Laboratories. That location is best known as the setting of the Portal titles, Valve’s fan-favorite first-person puzzle games.

This game will take us to the universe of Portal. Unfortunately, there is very little information on the project so far, but on 14 March in San Francisco, California, Vale will present its live virtual reality demo to the world. The company had already shown earlier this year a video that turned us back to Aperture to repair a robot, so hopefully that was a preview of what to come next.
