Last week we got to know The Evil Within recommended System requirements, but they were only recommended and enough to make any gamer seriously worried (especially horror gamers) now since the minimum requirements are out you can take a little breath of relief. The minimum requirements for the Evil within is little low and many gamers can run it but not all.
The Evil Within is one of the horror games, gamers are starving for since Evil Within got Shinji Mikami the creator Resident Evil series. So last week when you guys read the Recommend system requirements, you guys are probably worried, but now Bethesda has released the minimum requirements, you guys probably could run it but the main evil within here is the processor I guess. Anyway, you guys should probably take a look at the minimum system requirements here and see if you can run it or not.
The Evil Within Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows 7 (64 bit) / 8 (64 bit)
CPU: Intel i7 Quad Core or similar (Intel Core i7-860S / AMD Phenom II X4 965)
RAM: 4GB of System Memory
VRAM: 1GB Graphics Memory
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / AMD Radeon HD 6850
So, can you run it? These system requirements are better, but not so good either. The GPU requirements are now down and you will need only 1GB of VRAM and Directx11 to run the Evil within (better than recommended again). The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 and the AMD Raedon HD 6850 are the cards with the minimum requirements as you can see so it is good enough I guess. So you got a better Graphics Card you can run this good.
Now, after GPU let’s talk about CPU, everything seems fine (except the HD which is goddamn huge). Now the recommended system also gave us the only option to get Intel core i7 to run Evil within, it seems like minimum system requirements are also giving us the only option to get a intel core i7. Bethesda wants us to have i7 quad-core processor or any processor same as it is and the weakest is i7-860S 2.53GHZ and the AMD Phenom II X4 965. So do you have a good processor to run the evil within? The RAM and HD requirements are also same as the Recommended system requirements.
So those of you who have a good rig and can run this game be happy. Those of you having a bad rig (especially the processor) and cant run this game, don’t worry, there’s very much chance it will run on weak rigs too. The Evil Within will release on October 14 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 alongside Xbox one and Xbox 360 with Microsoft windows.
