Earlier this month, Bethesda surprised everyone while announcing The Elder Scrolls 6 during its E3 press conference. The studio revealed a short teaser of the game and didn’t provide any further information regarding the game, which led most of us think into the thoughts that the game will require some years to complete the development.
The developers didn’t made any comments regarding the game’s characters, story-line or anything related to the game, but recently, vice president of marketing Pete Hines revealed some interesting details during his interview regarding the upcoming projects. While talking about the Elder Scrolls 6, Pete Hines confirmed that the game will be a pure single-player experience, which means that it will not feature multiplayer mode.
The Fallout 76 will have the major part for multiplayer experience, and Bethesda wants to ensure the fans that they not going to abandon the single-player gamers, and that is why The Elder Scrolls 6 is under development. He also said that the game is years away from its final release.
Here’s what he said while talking with FZ.se;
“[The announcement] also helps convince folks, like, look, this is not forever-more what we’re doing. We are going to do a game that’s just single-player next time around, and yes, we are going to get to Elder Scrolls 6.” said Hines while adding that talking about game before its release and continued with “because we want the time between when we start to talk about it and it comes out to not be two years long or three years long. But it just gives folks a better idea of where we’re headed and understanding what the studio is working on and trying to do.”
Its good that the studio is not leaving the single-playing campaign mode as there are still many gamers left who love to have the single-player experience. While the Fallout 76 is more towards online gaming and mods.
The game is still in its early stage of development and will take a couple of years to be completed. Stay tuned for more updates!
